It's the real thing! You know that delicious fizzy soft drink with the red lable in the soda aisle. The stuff I love with a few pieces of garlic, onion and bacon pizza! YUMMY Still don't know, here's a clue .... Coca-cola or AKA Coke.

Did you know that's it not just for drinking? It can be used for things around your houshold and cooking! Imagine that!

Here are a few handy-dandy uses for that delectable soft drink:

Collect Coins? Give them some shine by soaking them in Coke!

Yucky Tea Kettle? Get rid of those limescales inside by pouring Coca Cola in it. Let sit for the day.

Burnt Saucepan? No worry! Pour some coke into and bring it boil. Let boil for a few minutes and the burnt stains should be gone.

Run out of toilet cleaning liquid? A can of Coke poured into the toilet will do the job. The acid in the drink gets to work right away.

Rusty Bolts? Not a problem! Wrap a piece of cloth that has been soaked in Coke around the bolts and let sit for a few hours.

Greasy Clothes? Pour a can of Coke into a load of greasy work clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular wash cycle. The coke helps loosen up the greasy stains.

Starting a Compost Pile? Aside from adding your norm to a compost pile like straw, grass clippings, old leaves etc add a can of code into the middle of it. Turn once a month and water. This will help quicken up the process.

Battery Corrosion? Tak a can of coke and pour it on your car battery's connections to remove the cruddy corrosion.

Easy Barbeque Sauce? Add coke and ketchup in equal parts to make a superb bbq sauce.

Want To Bake a Moist Ham? Just Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is done, remove the foil, allowing the drippings from the ham to mix with the Coke in the pan for a tasty brown gravy.

Leather shoes & pumps looking dull? Put the shine back in those puppies by wiping with a baby wipe.

Dusty Computer Keyboard? Rid those dust bunnies right out of there by using a baby wipe to remove the dirt, dried spills, and other gunk that gets on the keys. Be sure to unplug the keyboard before you wipe the keys.

Shine up those bathroom fixtures? Take a baby wipe and start polishing your bathroom fixtures. Wipe off with a dry washcloth to really shine them up

Crayon Marks on the wall? Try this! Remove crayon from walls with baby wipes

Over the years it was mainly used for cuts and scrapes to protect from bacteria getting in the wound, but now the use for this incredible product found in your grocery stores is much more. From shining shoes, for instant makeup to applying to squeaky doors, petroleum jelly has some unusual uses.

Here are some handy dandy tips for using petroleum jelly around your home!

* How many times have you used Super Glue to find the next time, the cap stuck? Try this! Apply a thick coating of petroleum jelly inside the cap threads to keep it from gluing itself shut. This will work on any cap or lid that may stick.

*No Tear baths for babies and kids: Dab a bit of petroleum jelly to the eyebrows of young kids before bath time. This creates a "water-resistant barrier" against soap bubbles, especially if you are out of tear-free shampoo formulas.

*Squeaky Doors? No problem, just apply a coating of petroleum jelly on the hinge pin.

*Add Power to That Plunger: Apply petroleum jelly about 2 tbsp. around the plunger's outer rim. Doing this creates a tighter seal and enhances the de-clogging performance of the plunger

*Polishing Nails a problem? Put a little petroleum jelly on the skin around your nails before putting on the nail polish. By doing this, mistakes can be wiped off when your nails are dry and it softens cuticles at the same time

*Keep Those Garbage Can Lids from freezing: In the winter sometimes rubber garbage can lids can freeze to the can. Just apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to keep it from sticking.

*Keep your locks from freezing: Apply some petroleum jelly on the shaft of the key and insert it into the lock. Work the key and lock 4 or 5 times to lubricate the tumblers. This is also a good for keys and locks that just don't seem to work smoothly together.

Aspirin is known as an excellent pain reliever. You take it for headaches, toothaches, muscle aches, or a fever. Some take low dose aspirin as part of their heart regimen. Well aspirin can soothe more than your normal aches and pains, it also soothes many things around your house as well.

Here's a few handy dandy aspirin uses:

Sweat Stains? No problem! Sweat stains from white tee shirts be gone with just using 2 aspirins in a 1/2 cup of warm water, let dissolve. Then apply to the area of fabric where the perspiration stain is. Let sit for a couple of hours before washing.

Ouch! Dang Mosquito! Soothe the mosquito bite by wetting the skin and rubbing an aspirin over the bite spot.

Shoulders Look Like Snowy Mountain? Get rid of that dandruff problem by keeping it in check. Just use 2 aspirins crushed to fine powder, then add it to the normal amount of shampoo you use when you wash your hair. Leave mixture on your hair for about 2 minutes. Rinse well and wash again with plain shampoo.

Pimple Problem? No worry! Crush 1 aspirin and add a little water to make a paste. Apply paste to pimple and wait a about 3 minutes, then rinse off. The pimple will become less red and lessen in size since the aspirin is an astringent.

Want To Make Your Fresh Flower Bouquets Last Longer? Just simply drop an aspirin tablet (not coated) into the water in a vase before placing your cut flowers in it.

Hair Gone Green or Yellow? If your hair goes yellow or green from the chlorine in a swimming pool, simply dissolve 8 aspirin tablets in a glass of water and rub the liquid into your hair. Leave in solution in hair for about 10 min., then rinse out and shampoo.

Ring Stuck On Your Finger? No need to pull and tug at that ring to get it removed. Just apply to the finger some lip balm and gently wriggle the ring loose.

Shaving Cut? Simply dab a bit of lip balm directly on the nick and the bleeding should quickly stop.

Dresser Drawer Stuck? Spread a bit of lip balm on the tracks and wheels and see how easily they glide!

Stop Battery Corrosion: Smear a bit of lip balm on your clean battery terminals in your car.

You know that stuff. It comes in a bottle and you gargle with it to get rid of halitosis. Hali...what? Ok ok.... in other words bad breathe! That liquid in the bottle found in the toothpaste aisle of the store.... good old Listerine mouthwash.

Here is some news for you incase you haven't heard. It's not for just getting rid of bad breathe, it works wonders on things around your home too.

Like what you ask? Well here are some handy dandy mouthwash tips for you!

Dirty computer screen? A strong, alcohol-based mouthwash will work as just well as your glass cleaner. Simply apply a little mouthwash with a damp, soft cloth and buff dry. Do not use this on LCD screens.

Dirty John? Try pouring a 1/4 cup of alcohol-based mouthwash into the bowl. Let it stand in the water for 1/2 hour, then swish with a toilet brush before flushing.

Got Some Body Odor Going On? Not a problem if you have run out of deodorant. Simply rub a few dabs of Listerine mouthwash under your arm with a cotton ball or spray under your arm using a spray bottle.

Flakes on Your Shoulder? No not snow flakes.... dandruff flakes! Just use one capful of Listerine mouthwash and pour into your hair and work it through with a comb OR you can wash your hair with your regular shampoo; then rinse with a capful of Listerine working it in, then follow with your regular conditioner, if desired.

Lawn Fertilizer? You've read correctly! Mix 1 cup of Listerine, one cup of Epsom salts, one cup of liquid soap, and one cup ammonia in a one-quart jar. Fill the rest of the jar with beer. Spray this on up to 2,500 square feet of lawn with a hose-attached sprayer in May and again in late June.

Have a Boo-Boo? Clean out a small cut or wound with Listerine.

Easy Make-Up Remover: Apply a small amount of baby oil to a cotton ball and wipe the make-up off your eyes, lips or face and that the same time it softens your face!

Dull Golf Clubs? Forget about all those fancy-shmancy cleaning kits for your chrome-plated carbon steel clubs. Dab a few drops of baby oil on a cloth or your golf towel and polish after each round of golf, to keep them looking new.

Stainless Steel or Chrome Looking Dull? No problem! Shine them up with a few drops of baby oil on a clean soft cloth. Rub dry with a towel. This trick will shine up trim on your appliances, bathroom fixtures to even your hubcaps!

Paint Spots All Over You? No worry! Get latex paint off your skin by simply rubbing it first with some baby oil, then wash with hot water & soap. Voila! Paint is gone!

Well look for yourself at some things that coffee can be used for. So don't throw those coffee grinds away after you've made your pot of coffee!

Got Ants? No problem, just sprinkle some dry coffee grounds outside doors, cracks or wherever those pesky insects are coming from.

Smelly Freezer or Frig? Get the odor out simply by filling a small bowl with fresh or used coffee grounds and leave overnight. For a flavored coffee scent, just add a couple of drops of vanilla

Cats In The Garden? Shoo them away from using your garden as a litter box with a mixture of orange peels and used coffee grounds placed around your plants.

Need Fertilizer? Use old coffee grounds to fertilize rosebushes, azaleas, rhododendrons, evergreens, and camellias.
